RSW pole transformer station switchgear are used for the distribution and measurement of electricity directly after the transformer in overhead medium voltage and low voltage stations. The switchgears are supplied directly from the transformer.
Switchgears have two separate chambers, in one part there is a main system consisting of a fuse disconnector or circuit breaker, transformers, outgoing boxes, and in the second part there is a semi-indirect measuring system for installing the electricity meter. Optionally, the pole transformer station switchgear can be equipped with a communication or street lighting control system.
Standard switchgears are equipped with so-called “chimneys” enabling the discharge of the power cable and discharge lines to the overhead line, or optionally equipped with a cable duct enabling the shielding and earthing of earth cables.
The switchgears can optionally be equipped with fuse disconnectors with fuse status control and disconnector position.
